Biography

Heath Calvin Patten is currently a doctoral candidate with the History of Art Department of The Ohio State University and is finishing his dissertation, Art in Motion: The Theme of Procession in the Art and Ritual of Early Cyprus. Mr. Patten’s areas of specialization are the art and architecture of ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, ancient Cyprus and the Ancient Near East. Heath is also a professional archaeologist and has worked on excavations of several sites in Ohio, Cyprus and Italy.
