Jeffrey Fulvimari: Ultramarine Dreames and Other Stories

Jeffrey Fulvimari is a prolific illustrator, born in Akron, OH, whose work is especially popular in Japan, and is well-known internationally.

Filling the Emily Davis Gallery with wondrous illustrations, The University of Akron's Mary Schiller Myers School of Art announces the exhibition: "Jeffrey Fulvimari: Ultramarine Dreams and Other Stories", Feb. 26 – March 26, 2007. Jeffrey Fulvimari is a prolific illustrator, born in Akron, OH, whose work is especially popular in Japan, and is well-known internationally. His illustrations can be spotted virtually everywhere, including animation for cable television networks and commercials, all aspects of print media, and numerous popular and licensed product lines in the US, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the UK, and other territories. His corporate client list includes Vogue, Gap, Nieman Marcus, Harper's Bazaar, Chanel, Verve Records, Sony Music and many more. Fulvimari's artistic diversity has led to a wide variety of projects including a Grammy Award for CD packaging, collaborative work with Madonna on a children's book, and fashion design for Louis Vuitton.

The opening reception is Thursday, March 1, 2007 from 6 – 7:30 pm. All events and exhibitions are free and open to the public.
