Laura Mocker graduated with the BA in Art Education in May 2007. She taught Elementary Art with Baltimore City Schools in Baltimore, MD for one year, and was recently hired as the Arts Specialist for Camba Kids Unite, and afterschool program for inner-city youth in Brooklyn, New York.
Amy Szwast graduated with a MS in Art Education in December 2006, and was hired by Canton Schools in Canton, Ohio to teach art at Faircrest Memorial Middle School. She was named Rookie Teacher of the Year by her district for the 2007-2008 school year.
Matthew Ramseyer was hired as the only art teacher at Orville High School in Orville, Ohio starting the 2008 school year.
Jennifer Davis graduated in 2006, and was hired as the early elementary art teacher for the Woodridge School District for the 2008-2009 school year.
David Carter graduated in 2006, and is currently a middle school art teacher for the Nordonia School District. He was named Teacher of the Year for the 2007-2008 year.

Lori Tuner, 2007 graduate, is now the lead art teacher for “Fairlawn School at Home,” a home school group in the area.
Audra Salisbury graduated in December, 2007, and was offered a position teaching elementary art in a Wisconsin School District.
Justine Kraschinski, 2008 graduate, is teaching K-6 art at Saturn Elementary in Brevard County School district in Florida.
Ryan Kerns graduated in 2005, and was recently offered a full time art teaching position with Buckeye School District.
Aaron McVay graduated in December, 2007, and is a long term art substitute for the Barberton School District.
Vanessa Glowicki graduated in spring 2008, and was offered a part time position for Bolich Middle School with the Cuyahoga Falls School District for the 2008-2009 school year.
Kate Boughton-Hummel is a community art teacher in Rockland, Maine, and recently created a Photography and Art for Kids program.
Sara Woodruff, 2006 graduate will be teaching elementary art at Richardson Elementary School in Cuyahoga Falls starting in fall 2008.

Katherine Manuselis, 2008 graduate, was a summer art instructor with The American School in Switzerland in Montagnola, CH. She was recently hired to teach middle school art for the 2008-2009 school year with Northwoods Park Middle School in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Joe Cortese, 2008 graduate, is employed as teacher with Children’s Conference Care, an outreach organization for 6-12 year children of working parents in Massachusetts. He was also hired to teach middle school art full time at Borne Middle School in Warren, Massachusetts for the 2008-2009 school year.
Bryan Blanton, 2006 graduate, was hired to teach during the 2007-2008 school year full time elementary art for Pickerington Local School District in Pickerington, Ohio.
Joseph Tistra, 2005 graduate, is a full time middle school art teacher for the North Canton School District.
Alum Beth A. Steffel will be having an exhibition of her work entitled 'Medium Rar' at the Robert V Fullerton Art Museum at the California State University, San Bernardino. The exhibition will take place from Sept. 25 – December 13, 2008.
Kirk and Nate Mueller, alums in graphic design, will be giving a paper at the Southeast College Art Conference (SECAC) in New Orleans on the 25th of September, "Generative Art: Redefining Time-Based Media," that discusses their Marius Watz exhibition at Myers.
John Noga, alum in Arts Administration, and GA in the gallery, is co-curator of Yoko Ono: Imagine Peace featuring John & Yoko's Year of Peace, an exhibition launched here at Myers, and still traveling. Currently, the exhibition is at Bucknell University's Samek Art Gallery through October 8. It then travels to the galleries at New Jersey City University where it is on view from October 27-December 8th, 2008. The exhibition won the award for Outstanding Exhibition and Catalogue of Contemporary Materials at the 2008 SECAC conference.
Noga is also co-curator of Agency: Art and Advertising, now at the McDonough Museum of Art in Youngstown, and authored an essay for the catalogue, "Along the Road."
