This degree is ideal for students who wanted a varied educational background in the visual arts. The program provides a broad knowledge of studio practice in different disciplines, a fundamental understanding of Western cultural history, and a solid foundation in the liberal arts and humanities. In addition to the general studies program, students are required to take courses in at least six different areas of the visual arts, art history, and two years of a foreign language or American Sign Language.
