Printmaking

Experimentation and exploration are encouraged in the printmaking program at the Myers School of Art. The curriculum's firm technical foundation and individualized instruction enables students to fully examine the visual and expressive potential of fine art printmaking. Students are evaluated for technical proficiency and artistic maturity.

The printmaking studio provides excellent facilities for lithography, intaglio, serigraphy, relief printing, handmade paper and art books. Among the outstanding features are three etching presses (the largest measuring 36" x 72"), two lithography presses (the larger measuring 28" x 48"), two offset proof presses, eight silkscreen printing stations (ranging up to 48" x 96"), and a separate etching rooms. test

Degree Requirements

15 courses in art history and 4 courses in art studio.

Two years of a foreign language, general education courses: English, social science, natural science, humanities, cultural diversity, physical education, math, speech.
